Pranava Malai in Tiruporur near OMR

Tiruporur is a small town outside Southern Chennai beyond Kelambakkam in Old Mahabalipuram Road located at a distance of 40 Km from Chennai. The Main Temple is that of Lord Muruga in Tiruporur.

My post on the Muruga temple has details of the same,

Pranavam or Omkaram has worshipped Lord Muruga and has taken the form of a Hill known as Pranavamalai in Tiruporur. It is a small hill located on OMR.

Lord Vishnu and Goddess Mahalakshmi in order to get relieved from the curse of Kanva Maharishi prayed to Lord Shiva as Vanmeekanathar in Tiruporur.

Goddess Mahalakshmi took the form of a Neem tree in Tiruporur and did penance. There is a temple for Lord Vinayaka under this Neem Tree near this Pranavamalai-Known as Vembadi Vinayakar.

Pranavamalai Girivalam

Performing Giripradakshina around PranavaMalai on all days is good.  It is around 2-3 Km and takes 30-40 minutes to perform girivalam around the hill.
Getting a good job

Performing Girivalam around Pranava Malai thrice (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) on the 1st day of Tamil Panguni Month (Falling on March 14 2016 this year) Blesses the devotee that one can get a permanent good job.

Performing the Girivalam on Pooram Star in Panguni month ( From 1:46 pm on Monday March 21 2016 till 4:19 pm on Tuesday March 22 2016) also blesses one to have a smooth transition from one job to another.
